NABF is based
on the premise that team(s) represent their leagues in national competition.
Each age group league participating under an NABF franchised member association
of four or more teams, is assigned to a regional or national championship
tournament event. For this reason, NABF does not base its membership fee
on the total number of participating teams in a league.
Each NABF franchised member association pays an annual membership fee,
which covers as many age group leagues as the association has. For instance,
if your association has eight age group leagues, your association will
pay the same membership fee as a member having only one age group league.
However, for each team that represents a sanctioned NABF league in an
NABF tournament event, a tournament fee must be paid in advance.
FRANCHISE MEMBERSHIP FEE: All NABF member associations
must renew their annual membership by May 15 of the current season.
TOURNAMENT FEES: The league must have their tournament
fees paid in full, by June 1.
REGISTER LEAGUE: The NABF must have a registered list
of all the teams in each league, with the managers’ name, address,
and phone number by July 1.
ELIGIBILITY LIST OF PLAYERS: The NABF must have an
eligibility list of each player in your league. This is a team roster
with the name, birth date, and address of each participating player.
The rosters must be received at least 15 days prior to the start of
the regional or national tournament assigned.
INFORMATION PACKET: Teams participating in regionals
will receive an information packet before the start of the tournament.
Your packet will include an NABF Rule Book and other pertinent information
for your particular event. This information is all self-explanatory
but it must be reviewed. The required forms must be completed and presented
to the designated tournament officials in order to sanction your team
for play in an NABF event.
TEAMS MUST BE SANCTIONED: Teams participating in a
World Series also have a few administrative tasks to complete. Information
is provided to all eligible teams taking part in NABF national championship
events. All teams must be sanctioned under the rules of the NABF prior
to taking part in any NABF national baseball tournament event.
