Each year, the NABF Scholarship Committee examines many scholarship applications and chooses the recipients of the NABF Scholarships. This season, the following are the recipients of $1,200 scholarships from the NABF:
Danny is currently attending the University of Northwestern Ohio and pursuing an Associate Degree in HVAC/R Technology. He is a member of the UNOH baseball team. Danny will continue his education in CAD Design or Business. His career aspiration is to start up his own HVAC business.
Danny is a part of the "Change Up Foundation" which financially helps young athletes find their way on the field and is dedicated to help grow the game of baseball.
Robi plans to complete his associate degree at Hinds Community College in general studies and then continue his academic journey in the field of Civil Engineering.
Robi plans to begin working in the field of Civil Engineering. While working, he plans to earn a professional engineering license to enhance his career.

John Buford is currently a junior attending Mercyhurst University. He is a double major in Sports Business and Psychology, and is also a member of the Mercyhurst baseball team. His plans are to become a Sports Psychologist.
-Annie graduated Cum Laude from Aquinas College (Grand Rapids, MI) in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. Was awarded the Outstanding Philosophy Graduate Award. Competed in collegiate lacrosse for three seasons, and was named rookie of the year in 2016.
- Annie received her Master's of Arts degree in philosophy from the Center for Thomistic Studies, University of St. Thomas (TX) after successful completion of comprehensive exams in the summer of 2021.
- She is currently enrolled as a P.h.D student at the Center for Thomistic Studies, University of St. Thomas. She is currently completing her doctoral coursework in preparation for writing her dissertation on the thought of Pope John Paul II.
- Annie's career aspirations are to attain her doctorate and then teach philosophy at a college or university in the midwest so that she and her husband can be close to family - and close to baseball. Annie aspires also to continue to advocate for ALS research and patients, as her life's goals will always be inspired by her mother who fought ALS so bravely and lived life so well.

Jack Butler is currently attending Mercyhurst University with a major in Communication and a minor in Marketing. Jack was essential this past season running the social media sites for the Diamond League, Ohio Prospects League and also the NABF. Jack is also the play-by-play announcer for Mercyhurst Baseball. In addition, Jack operates a blog and podcast called Baseball Nostalgia 1869. His goals are to have a career in Sports Media.
