NABF Announces New Director of Carribbean Baseball and St. Marteen Franchise

The NABF is excited to announce that it will be expanding its baseball operations to the Caribbean. Sint Marteen Baseball-Softball Federation has become the first ever NABF Franchise in the Caribbean and Mr. Austin Helliger has so graciously agreed to serve as the NABF Director of Caribbean Baseball. Mr. Helliger is a resident of Sint Marteen Island, which is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in the Caribbean. Mr. Helliger is the President of the Sint Marteen Baseball-Softball Federation which oversees baseball and softball operations on the island. He will oversee the development of NABF Baseball Leagues and Franchises in the Caribbean. 

 This development in the Caribbean will begin with the first ever International High School Baseball Tournament, June 28th to July 5th, 2024 on Sint Marteen Island. The NABF, the International Caribbean Sports Tournament (ICST), in partnership with the Open Borders Sports Foundation (OBSF), and Sint Marteen Baseball-Softball Federation, will host the International High School Baseball Tournament, A total of 16 teams from the United States, the Caribbean and Europe will compete for two berths to the NABF High School World Series in Knoxville, TN July 18-21, 2024.
